A cat was walking on a Odan Hodo! That's what surprised me most today.

I'M SLEEPY

I'm sleepy because there was a big earthquake this morning. I thought that Japan might sink into the sea. That's why I'm sleepy.

A SNOWY MORNING

It snowed in the morning. The ground was beautifully white.

GIRI CHOCO

I got Giri chocolate from science teachers. They had good senses and it might be the best Giri chocolate in my history!

NEW YEAR'S DAY

Today, Japanese eat rice cake (mochi). I like to roll the rice cake in seaweed and dip it in soy sauce and chili (Shichimi-ya).

16 DAYS LEFT UNTIL THE COMMON TEST

Only 16 days left until the common test. Today was the closing day of our school. But we opened our school for the 3rd graders. 30 students came to the school for self-study. We'll open the school on January 3rd next!

A HUMBLE DOCTOR

TODAT'S LUNCH

Today was a lunch of choice. I had the seafood lunch box. It was like celebrating Christmas.

WHAT THE EYE DOCTOR SAID

My eye doctor gives us a piece of paper when the examination is over. There were some good words written on it. "You can create your own mood by smiling, speaking, and acting". For example, "Great condition!", "Good morning!".

HARUMAKI IN LAOS

Twenty-one years ago, I bought some Harumaki from a street stall in Thailand and it was excellent. I still can't forget it. I was told it was Laos Harumaki. I want to sell it at a street stall in Africa. Relaxing with my family.

SPORTS DAY IN NOVEMBER

The sports day of the primary school which could not be held in May took place today. I took some photos because I missed it.

NATIONAL ELECTION

Today was a nationwide election. I hope a lot of young people vote. But my daughter is not at home, so she can't vote.

SPECIAL GLASSES

I bought glasses. It's ¥20,800, but I added a special lens with an additional charge of ¥20,000. It is a top quality lens in Japan. I can't compromise with my glasses.

I BOUGHT A LOUPE

This loupe makes it easier to read the text. It makes my work much easier. I can't believe it costs only 300 yen.

DOCTOR X

New drama "Buddy" and "Doctor X" is interesting. I'm looking forward to next week.

THE GAS COOKER SAID

"The cooker is hot,' said the new gas cooker. Sooner or later the refrigerator will talk too.

VIVA MANABE!

Mr Manabe has won the Nobel Prize! It's great and I'm very impressed. What was more surprising was that I found it on Wikipedia right after that!
